Mobile Training Centres
The aim of the Mobile Training Centres, currently 26 in number, is to provide training on income generation activities to rural women/girls residing in remote villages at their doorsteps. Distance and lack of transportation is a deterrent for these women/girls to travel to the permanent training centres. Access to training is provided through these mobile centres which hold sessions at times most convenient for the women. The Mission bears all expenses related to training.

Community managed training has also been introduced with VOs being given the responsibility for training. A pilot of this model

was run at Ram Nagar and Thulrai villages of Gaura Block, during which the VO collected Rs 100 each from the trainees for a six-month stitching and embroidery training programme. This amount paid the honorarium of the trainers while all other expenses were borne by the Programme. The success of this model has led to community based training centres being set up at other locations such Lalganj, Sareni and Chatoh blocks of Raebareli district.
