- The best practices of livelihood
enhancement have been internalised by SHG
members
- Livelihoods provided to 20,000 dairy
families (or 100,000 people)
- 85,000 litres of milk is procured daily
(Rs 12-17 per litre) and is marketed in
Delhi
- Rs 1.2 million everyday goes directly
into the pockets of dairy farming families
(Rs. 2,000 per family per month)
- 95 bulk milk coolers setup across the
project area (two districts) with each
having a capacity of 2,000 litres
- 10 Raksha Veterinary Clinic are
operational and provide paid veterinary
services to dairy farmers;. NDDB provides
medicine at subsidised rates
- SHG women are increasingly taking up
poultry and bee keeping, vegetable growing,
etc as income generating activities
- 29,603 women/girls have been trained in
income-generating skills
- 1,686 women have been trained in dairy
activities
- 222 CRPs and 33 Block Resource Person (BRPs)
have been trained in seven best practices of
dairy. Now these CRPs are training SHG
women.15 Livelihood Resource Persons have
been identified who collect data related to
cattle feed provided by farmers
